Bledlow Jazz presents Jonathan Taylor Trio

Wonderfully lyrical pianist plays music with distinctly festive flavour

Pianist, educator, arranger, whistle player, Tango expert and all-round great musician Jonathan Taylor (http://tangomusic.co.uk/musicians/jonathan-taylor-piano/) draws on a wealth of experience to create a classic jazz piano trio concert (that's piano, bass & drums) that will have you smiling all the way to Christmas lunch! Jonathan has worked with legendary funk musicians Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Wesley and played and recorded with many great jazz musicians including Iain Ballamy, Eddie Parker, Andy Sheppard, Gilad Atzmon, Tim Whitehead and Steve Arguelles. He studied composition at Middlesex University and has written music for large and small ensembles, contemporary dance and music education projects. He currently teaches jazz at the Guildhall School and is a music examiner for ABRSM. On stage with Jonathan will be bassist Paul Jefferies and brilliant drummer Euan Palmer.
