Blandine Anderson: Ceramics and Paintings

'As Sea Beats on Stone' is the title of this solo exhibition featuring the animals and birds that inhabit the intersection between sea and shore. From impressively large, free-standing stoneware sculptures of whales to miniature, scrimshaw-like puffins in porcelain these pieces engage with the coastal ecology and Man's interaction with Nature, including reinterpretations of the fantastic mythological sea creatures of Gaelic and Norse culture.
