One of the defining groups of the 2010s boy band revival

It’s safe to say that being signed to a record deal and cast in a TV show simultaneously is not a typical way for a band to get their start.

Back in 2009 Big Time Rush changed boyband history when their TV show of the same name started airing on Nickelodeon. Through Nick Records the group released their debut album, BTR, in 2010, promoting many of the album’s singles through the first season of the show. Big Time Rush’s music and TV career would continue in this symbiotic relationship until 2013, when after four seasons on Nickelodeon, three albums, multiple tours and a full-length film, the Big Time Rush TV show came to an end. The group continued touring until early 2014, before agreeing to go on hiatus, allowing the four members to explore solo careers.

It wasn’t until 2021 that Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega and Logan Henderson reunited for new live shows, with their comeback single ‘Call It Like I See It’, arriving in December of that year. Throughout 2022 the group released multiple non-album singles and took their Forever tour around the US and South America. In February 2023, Big Time Rushed released ‘Can’t Get Enough’, the lead single of their new studio album Another Life, which arrived that June. In conjunction with the album’s release, the group announced the Can’t Get Enough tour.
