Beyond Tradition: 'Food For My Soul'

Join us for a very special evening that will provide food for the soul!

Inspired by rural childhoods and a trip along the River Bann from Portglenone to Lough Neagh during the summer of 2023, dancer Mary McGuiggan, poet Maura Johnston and musician Paraig O’Brien have created a colourful journey through poetry, music and dance. Joining them will be traditional step dancer Joe McGuiggan, historian and archaeologist Tom McErlean and singer-songwriter Colum Sands. This talented, local group will celebrate and share their individual experiences of growing up alongside the river and will showcase the traditions, the reels and jigs, the music and most importantly, stories of family, community and shared experience.
