Matinee 27 April 2.30pm Hollywood royalty, rivalry and ruthlessness behind the scenes Hollywood queens Bette Davis and Joan Crawford find themselves in adjacent dressing rooms on the set of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? Joan battles her anxiety wit vodka-laced Pepsi and correspondence with her beloved fans. Bette chain-smokes and muses over her ability to pick a decent script but never a decent man With bared teeth, thinly-veiled barbed insults .and brutal pranks, they play a delicate game of one-upmanship.Behind the bitching and practical jokes we see the culmination of a lifetime of rivlry underpinned by a grudging respect.
