Davidson, a young college student, lives with his granddad who has looked after him for the majority of his life after his parents disappeared, and encourages him to follow his dream: to compete in the Tour de France. He aspires to be one of the greats. His priorities are split between college, training for a cycling race that could land him a scholarship to study at university, his granddad’s deteriorating health, and Emily: a girl he becomes infatuated with. He becomes a rabbit in the headlights.

A story that explores the difficulties of growing up in a rural town, with no clear route to achieve the big dreams of youth.

Audience Praise:

"Now that’s how you tell a story" "A Tour de Force" "A production that never ran out of imagination" "The most exciting and moving piece of theatre I have seen in recent years".

Music composed by Robi Mitch Lighting and visual design by Ross Hayward
