An Evening with the Ginger Pig Band 3rd December

To take us into the Christmas season, we will be welcoming the acclaimed Northampton based Ginger Pig Band whose performances have been entertaining audiences in Northampton and beyond for over four decades with their eclectic brand of music.

Besides being influenced by the music of London in the 'Swinging 60's', the Ginger Pig Band has had a long term connection with New Orleans. The band plays Jazz & Blues with a New Orleans flavour, which embraces a time span from Louis Armstrong through to Fats Domino and beyond, but their infectiously entertaining repertoire also includes Soul, R&B, Pop and Caribbean influences.

They have completed over 100 tours world wide appearing at Jazz and Blues festivals and accompanying guest artists have included soul and R&B artists such as Zoot Money, Steve Gibbons and PP Arnold as well as legendary New Orleans jazz performers.
