Bizet, Jeux d’Enfants

Emmanuel Séjourné, Marimba concerto, featuring soloist Darcy Beck, Saint-Saëns, Symphony No.3, The Organ Symphony

The Farmers Overseas Action Group, FOAG, is a charity committed to improving the lives of some of the most vulnerable families in rural Uganda. It helps farmers to grow more and waste less food, it invests in children's education and supports healthcare for youngsters with physical and mental disabilities.

Once again, Cheltenham Symphony Orchestra will be supporting FOAG with its annual fundraising concert, this year featuring a selection of French masterpieces. Not least amongst them will be the Marimba Concerto by Séjourné, to be performed by Gloucestershire Young Musician 2020, Darcy Beck.

...and as if that weren’t enough, there’s the massive Organ Symphony by Saint-Saëns to look forward to.
