An Evening in Buenos Aires

Argentine Tango professionals, Luciano Millaqueo and Celeste Cimino, will be making this very special appearance at Guiseley Theatre in “An Evening in Buenos Aires”.

Champions of the prestigious Los Reyes de la Plaza competition in 2022, these rising stars of tango will recreate the ambience of a Buenos Aires nightclub, supported by dancers from the British tango community.

In a program of dance and live music, images and films, this intimate production will celebrate the history of Argentina’s iconic dance, transporting us from the birth of tango in the first decade of the twentieth century, through its Golden Age in the 1930s and 40s; the heyday of tango’s film stars, and onto the present day.
