In cholera-stricken Exeter, 1833, Tom Finnimore foolishly steals some chickens to help feed his family. Unfortunately, he is caught in the act and sentenced to transportation. ‘The Glass Bulldog’ is the true story of Alison Huntingford’s Devon ancestor and his struggle to survive.
