Oaken will co-lead a fun & inclusive afternoon singing workshop before the concert. Music will be taught by ear in luscious 4-part harmony. No previous musical or singing experience necessary. Shortly afterwards you can hear Oaken perform their unique repertoire in the beautiful setting of Stroud's Lansdown Hall.
Oaken Oaken is Emily Barden, Anna Tabbush, Camilo Menjura & Dominic Stichbury. As singers, choral leaders, composers & arrangers, they are bringing luscious harmony through performances and workshops to audiences around the UK.
With roots in folk music, branching into contemporary and original songs, this quartet of experienced performers and practitioners began delivering online singing workshops together in 2020. Since then Oaken have developed an exciting repertoire that showcases their vocal talents, alongside a prolific catalogue of self penned songs and arrangements.
