Easter weekend 2020. The height of lockdown. Not that it has stopped the Gower family from gathering at their Highland retreat to celebrate their daughter’s engagement to the son of the founder of one of America’s largest pharmaceutical companies.

Their celebrations are cut short when Detective Inspector Anne Gould arrives unannounced. She's not there to question them about the breach of lockdown rules. She is investigating the death of a foreign woman found in an Edinburgh flat with her three month old baby by her side.

How could any of the Gower family be connected to someone like that? Very easily, as DI Gould's investigation reveals.

An(other) Inspector Calls is a new play by Andy Moseley that asks whether anything has really changed since Priestley's seminal work.

This is a rehearsed reading presented by NoLogoProductions. The play includes adult themes (including a reference to sexual assault), and may not be suitable for people under 15 years old.

'Will leave audiences informed and moved about how the headlines impact real people in real ways.' Bush Theatre Literary Department
