An unmissable celebration of Scottish music for the opening weekend of Westfest. Award winning Scots fiddler Alastair Savage has an extensive back catalogue of critically acclaimed album recordings and has performed throughout the world as a traditional and classical musician. Joining him are long time collaborators Euan Drysdale (guitar/piano), Iain Crawford (double bass), Ewan Robertson (whistle/flute) and special guest Chris Gibb, one of Scotland’s foremost pipers and former soloist at the BBC last night of the proms celebrations in Glasgow. Concert duration 1 hour approx.
