Aileen Robertson School of Highland Dancing - Dancing Around the World

This successful Ayr based Dancing School have performed many times on the Gaiety Stage.

Their latest showcase, Dancing Around the World, will be produced & choreographed by Aileen Robertson. Aileen is Dance Director of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and leads the dancers when performing at many overseas Tattoos & performances. Many of their dancers have travelled to Australia, New Zealand, India, China, Germany, & Switzerland showcasing Highland Dancing at its best. Aileen’s recent highlight was leading the dancers to perform in Windsor at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, accompanied by the Military Massed Pipes & Drums. The dancers look forward to performing again at the Gaiety and showing the versatility of Highland Dancing. Classes are suited for recreational to competitive Dancers from 3 years to Adult and are held across Ayrshire. Highland presents wonderful opportunities for our younger generation of dancers.
