Music for Violin, Voice, and PianoThis is a chance to hear the work Richard Strauss' incredibly lush and powerful Violin Concerto, but in the format in which it was first heard in 1882 when Benno Walter played the solo part with Strauss accompanying on the piano. Alongside the Strauss, Owain Rowlands will perform a vocal 'entente cordiale' comprising gems from the vocal repertoire by British and French composers.The three talented musicians all hail from theRoyal Welsh College of Music and Drama [https://www.rwcmd.ac.uk/], which, like Music in Country Churches, is a patronage of His Majesty The King.The concert is in aid of the restoration appeal for St Mary the Virgin, Hillington.Musicians
