Younger brother to Gustav, Ernest left Cheltenham for America at the beginning of the 20th century, becoming a Broadway actor and then a favourite in numerous Hollywood films of the 1930s and 1940s, including Kitty Foyle alongside Ginger Rogers.Free with general admission to the museum.Inspired by Ernest’s story?
