Tameside Creative Network: Creative Leadership Workshop

Join Katie Charlton, founder of Starling CIO, for a crash course in creative leadership.

The workshop will borrow helpful tidbits from her fantastic 6-week UNLOCK mentoring course, designed for emerging leaders and early-career creativesIn this session with Katie, you'll explore your creative leadership style and discover how to work more effectively with your own strengths.Katie is an artist-leader who supports artists to develop creative projects that serve them and their communities.

Working in a neuro-affirming, strengths-based way, she is the founder of neurodiversity charity Starling CIO and co-founder of Almia CIC, a 'performance art-ivist' project working for queer play, joy and liberation.Alongside the workshop, there will be lots of time to network and meet other artists and creative folk from across Tameside.

Tea, coffee and biccies will also be provided!To find the ground floor studio space: once in the Woodend Mill main car park, walk down the tunnel between the 2 mills and you will arrive at the River Take.

Turn left and walk to the studio back door, it is a few meters from the door to the Woodend Mill cafe.The venue has ample free parking and step free access.
