Tropanka are an instrumental and dance ensemble who specialise in the exhilarating music of Eastern Europe, from the heartbreak of Yiddish laments to the insatiable groove of Macedonian wedding music - and everything in between. Tropanka is a type of dance from Bulgaria, which literally means “the stompy one”.
