Santa Specials

Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 11am, 12pm, 2pm & 3pm, returning at 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm respectively - you cannot return on a later train.

The 12pm & 3pm trains are reserved for large group booking until 1st November, then any remaining tickets will be sold.After the 15-minute journey to Kemsley Down, passengers with Group 1 tickets will be taken to see Santa in his grotto, Group 2 will go to Santa's Workshop and Group 3 ticket holders (and those not seeing Santa in his grotto) will be taken to the Footplate Cafe.When Group 1 has seen Santa, they will head to the Footplate Cafe and Group 2 will go to Santa's Grotto and Group 3 passengers will go to Santa's Workshop.

When Group 2 has finished at Santa's Grotto they go to the Cafe, Group 3 will go to the Grotto and Group 1 will go to Santa's Workshop.The bookings will be per person so multiple bookings should be completed at once.

Each child will receive a personalised Christmas Card from Santa so you will be asked for their name and age when booking.

You will also be asked about food allergies and preferences for adult's seasonal refreshments.

Babes in arms who do not need a seat should be booked in the 'Infants travelling on laps' section at the top of the selection, this allows more people to travel.

The infants will be allocated to your booking, they won't be sitting elsewhere!A step-by-step guide to booking Santa Specials can be found by clicking here.Please note: the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway is not absorbing the cost of the booking fee (a booking fee will be payable to TicketSource).

If we cancel trains, we will instruct our ticket agent, TicketSource, to refund fares and you will get a full refund, however, if you ask to cancel your booking the refund will not include the booking fee.

Telephone booking fee and cancellation insurance costs will not be refunded.
