Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto by Candlelight

Inside St Mary Le Strand Church, candlelight catches the Baroque details as The Piccadilly Sinfonietta begins a memorable evening of orchestral drama.

Warren Mailley-Smith leads the piano into Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, with Holst’s Mars and Elgar’s Nimrod building the journey.

Let the sound swell through this intimate London church, from thunderous themes to tender pauses that linger.
