Summer Songs With Albion Choir - Framlingham

You are invited to Albion Choir's next concert --- SUMMER SONGS back in our Suffolk home, the gorgeous St Michael's Church in Framlingham.The choral group's wish to create music that moves, inspires, and heals continues with a special performance back in Framlingham, scene of our sold-out New Year's Day event.

Our songs cover the range of human experiences - from joy and rapture to sorrow and consolation.

They are performed in special new versions created by the singers, in an atmosphere of welcome, peace, and enjoyment.You will likely know and love some of the songs - and others will we trust be a lovely new surprise.

Plus our joyous covers of WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW IS LOVE SWEET LOVE and a quirky pastoral version of THE MILLER OF DEE, a weirdly hypnotic love story from Cheshire.

At a dark time for the world and for many people, we also offer some sanctuary and consoluation with a new piece of ours, O PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM, and the timelessINVOCATION [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n25HKguzTQo] - which is about PEACE LOVE AND TENDERNESS.

So, something for everyone, and a memorable and moving occasion lined up for everyone, whether you have heard Albion before or not.Please know that admission is Pay What You Want.You are welcome to pay whatever amount you choose - and to bring many guests! This is so that there is no cost barrier to attending.

Considering the value of this concert compared to similar ones, the standard ticket price is 15 per person.

You may pay what you will, as little as you like, and can always top up on the day if you love it.The concert will last about 2 hours including an interval.
