Jamie's planned programme is titled "Music and the natural world":
This programme offers an exploration of nature through music. Beethoven's ever-popular "Moonlight" Sonata is followed by two transformations of water: one in the form of a fountain (Ravel - Jeux d'eau), and the other through a type of folk song sung by Venetian gondoliers (Chopin - Bacarolle). The second half is devoted to Liszt's first Annees de pelerinage, whose movements include a number of natural depictions.The Music Club "Annual General Meeting" will be at 7:15pm.See https://www.hoddesdonmusic.org.uk for directions to the venue
