Join our team for a fascinating guided tour and learn how we care for Lancashire's heritage. See conservation projects currently in progress and discover the specialist skills involved in treating easel paintings, museum objects and natural history collections. You'll also have the opportunity to explore our technical and exhibition design work and find out how exhibitions are developed to bring heritage stories to life.Visitors are also welcome to explore the surrounding grounds and historic graveyard, where recent conservation work has uncovered and revealed many gravestones, shedding light on the stories of local families and the area's past.Arrive at any point during opening times - no booking required. Tours last approximately 30 minutes and take place throughout the day.
