Newcastle Castle Volunteer Open House - National Volunteer Week

As part of National Volunteer Week, we’re hosting an Open House, with free entry to the castle keep from 3-5pm, for anyone interested in volunteering at Newcastle Castle!What to expect:
- Introduction to the castle and our volunteering programme in the Harbottle Learning Room
- Refreshments
- Guided tour to the keep
- Opportunities to chat to our staff & current volunteersWhy not pop in to take a look around and see how you could get involved in bringing Newcastle’s history to life!Later on, at 5pm, we’ll be closing to host a private celebration just for our volunteers, to thank them for their passion, dedication and enthusiasm for preserving the history and heritage of the castle and the city itself.
