Fused Glass Workshop - Various Options

Join local glass artist, Rachael Durkan from The Glass Cabin at 10am or 1pm for one of her popular fused glass workshops.

In this session you will have 2 hours to complete whichever design you choose giving you the flexibility to create that piece you have been keen to try but keep missing out on, or give something a go for the very first time. This works particularly well for groups attending together as you have the freedom to chose the item you prefer from the list below, rather than all having to make the same. Designs must be selected at the time of booking.Enjoy a fun, informal, and relaxing taster workshop where youll learn the basics of kiln-formed glass techniques while creating your very own glass piece. Rachael will have lots of ideas to inspire you and is on hand with design advice throughout the workshop. No previous experience is needed just bring your curiosity and creativity!Rachael will then take your finished pieces away to be kiln fired. They will be available for collection from the barn approximately 10 days after the workshop. These workshops are suitable for age 16+ (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult).Please select which option you would like at the time of booking.

If you are interested in booking an all day session (10am - 3pm) where you can complete a taster piece in the morning and then your choice of larger item in the afternoon, please contact us on ceara.foley@winterbournebarn.org.uk to discuss as these need to be booked on an individual basis.Free parking on site.
