Writing humour and comedy can be a challenging, but very rewarding experience.
If you've ever wanted to have a go at it, or are already a writer looking to improve your craft, then this workshop by bestselling author Nick Spalding should offer some help.
Nick has sold over three million books at this stage in his career, so he should (hopefully) know what he's talking about.
In the workshop, he'll talk about things like how to create a story suitable for humour, how to pace sequences on the page to maximise the laughs, how to mix comedy with drama to produce a more deep and meaningful narrative, and the challenges that sometimes come with writing humour in our somewhat sensitive times! He'll also answer any questions attendants might have, in what he hopes will be an informal and fun event.Open for HWS member early bird bookings until 20th February, general admission thereafter.
