Metal detectorist cousins Ellie Bruce and Lucilla Gray recall how a chance reunion led them to explore the countryside with metal detectors in hand, finding not only remarkable artefacts but a deeper connection to place, family and the past.

They are joined by archaeologist and presenter Mark Horton, who led recent excavations in the Cotswolds to reveal a Celtic religious site and hoard, originally discovered by detectorists.
