Emma Rawicz

Emma Rawicz has already made a name for herself as a fearless improviser, never afraid to dive into uncharted territory with each new project.

CLOUDWALKER is a project that builds yet further on this reputation, with utter commitment to improvisation and spontaneous creation at the heart of her music.

The tenor saxophone acoustic quartet is a timeless lineup that has been tried and tested throughout the history of jazz and improvised music.

Seeking to make her own unique statement in this format, Rawicz has assembled a formidable and truly international band of Rasmus Sørensen, Freddie Jensen and Marc Michel to explore the boundaries of what is possible in the quartet.

The ensemble features some of the most sought-after musicians in Europe and beyond and creates a unique chemistry resulting in thrilling performances filled to the brim with spontaneity, that evoke the fullest possible sonic palette and range of emotion within the music.Presented by Norwich Arts Centre. This is a 14+ event
