Blue Gillespie is a progressive metal band formed in November 2007 in Newport, Wales.

The band consists of vocalist Gareth Lloyd, guitarist Anthony Clark, bassist Rhys Bryant, and drummer Nick Harrison.

They gained attention early in their career due to Lloyd's acting career, particularly his role in "Torchwood." Their debut album, Synesthesia, was released in 2010, followed by their second album, Seven Rages of Man, in 2012.

The band's music often explores themes of anger and negativity, with the character "Blue Gillespie" representing their darker selves.
