Waters Edge - Sarah Garforth

An exhibition of oils and mixed media based on the Rivers and Reservoirs in the Yorkshire DalesSarah has been exploring the countryside of the Yorkshire Dales on foot and in her paintings for many years.

It has taken her to little hidden gems and given her many personal privileged moments which she hopes to capture in her paintings and pass on.

The tranquility of water, especially gentle running rivers and their reflections have always given her peace and still remain the main draw and focus of her work.

The energy of water falling over cascades and waterfalls gives a different feeling and is one she enjoys to capture also.

This exhibition visits some much loved locations and some new ones far of the beaten track.
