Using Paceful Approaches to Support Behaviour and Emotional Regulation / Defnyddio Pace I Gefnogi Ym

The focus of this training course is to provide practitioners with a variety of tools, strategies and methods to support children in the early years who struggle to regulate their emotions and display behaviours that challenge us.
The training will cover PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy), which is a therapeutic framework that focuses on building build safe, trusting and meaningful relationships with children. Delegates will also gain an understanding of how to identify the reasons for a child's distress and how to then support them to regulate.
Delegates will:Develop an understanding of PACE and how this approach can be implemented
Understand how to use ABC charts to identify triggers for dysregulation
Understand a variety of ways to support children who experience dysregulation
