110 Years of Bolling Hall Museum

Celebrating 110 years of being a museum after opening in September 1915.

Photo panels on easels in various rooms show Bolling Hall when the Tankard family lived there in the 1870s - 1880s and during its restoration into a museum from 1912 - 1915.

There is also a small display in the Housebody showing objects linked to Bolling Hall, such as a sword discovered under an attic room’s floorboards, a book found in the garderobe and the ceremonial key used in the museum’s opening ceremony in 1915.
