"His easy, relaxed manner conceals the greatest level of true expertise. (Fatea)Statesboro, Georgia-born Brooks Williams has been living in Cambridge, England for nearly 20-years. He has around 35 recordings to his name and has done thousands of gigs over the course of his 35-year career.
From Cropredy to Glastonbury, Philadelphia to Winnipeg, Costa del Folk to Shrewsbury, there are very few stages Brooks hasn't played. He moves effortlessly between country, blues and folk.
SoundBox Chester audiences have seen Brooks perform in collaboration with banjo guru Dan Walsh, and Vera van Heeringen (just two examples of the numerous duo collaborations of his career), and also in a solo capacity. It's in that role that we welcome him back again this year. His latest album, Brooks' Acoustic, is one youll want to listen to again and again!
