Riley Stone-Lonergan

The multi-award-winning saxophonist Riley Stone-Lonergan is widely regarded as one of the leading lights of his generation.

Named a Yamaha Jazz Scholar in 2011 his work with the highly regarded, generation-spanning QOW Trio was described by BBC Music Magazine as “a stunning achievement”.

Tonight Riley is planning a programme dedicated to the iconic US saxophonist Joe Henderson alongside the Award-winning pianist Will Barry, Fergus Ireland-bass & Will Cleasby-drums.

Riley says that improvisation ‘brings him the most joy’ so expect a night of exciting, swinging music.
