Laurie Laybourn is Executive Director of the Strategic Climate Risks Initiative and an awardwinning researcher. He holds fellowships at Chatham House, the University of Exeter and IPPR, advises the UK Climate Change Committee, and regularly appears in the media to discuss climate and systemic risk.This special event forms part of The Bookerys ongoing programme of author talks and cultural events, proudly supporting the National Year of Reading.
