A celebration of all things queer and fierce!Following a successful Hallowe'en gig at Leadworks last year, I wanted to use the opportune moment of Hallowe'en night itself on a Saturday this year to celebrate all the amazing LGBTQIA+ artists in our scenes - from DIY to Punk and Metal to Drag and Burlesque - who celebrate the sinister, spooky, camp and downright freaky.
This nightlong festival starts at 4pm and begins with a Cabaret feast, introducing the drag, burlesque and ghost storytelling acts who will continue to go boo to a goose throughout the evening.
Then, we split between the upstairs or downstairs of Leadworks, music upstairs, cabaret downstairs, alternating so there's barely a moment without an act on stage! For those with wheelchairs and similar access needs, I am hoping we'll be able to project musical performances to a screen downstairs you can see all performances on the ground level.Leadworks itself will also be meticulously decorated, and costumes are encouraged (but not necessary!).
We will also have literature available from a Queeriosity Bookshop Stall (just confirmed yesterday!).Fifteen sincredible acts, two floors, one night never to forget - please buy tickets in advance to secure your spot in a terribly joyous night to remember!
