Kerching is a party brought to you by Abbie and Kate - Atmos Ninjas. We're creating events, bespoke parties and art exhibitions for likeminded communities.Our next event:Saturday 14th November at Book and Record Bar, West Norwood (Next to the station opposite The Hope Pub) SE27 9NRMusic starts at 7.30 pm and finishes at 2 am. You will need to purchase a ticket in advance - tickets are priced at 8. To ensue everyone gets a chance to come please don't buy more tickets than you really need!To those who don't know the venue, it's another brilliantly intimate space. They transform the shop into a bar / club vibe with a perfectly sized dancefloor, a nicely priced bar AND an outside smoking area!As per the last two events in Folkestone, our music will be as eclectic as possible. Expect a dabbling of disco, an abundance of Balearic beats, and of course, some signature stonking bass lines and tantalising techno!DJs on the night: Abbie G, Katie S, DJ Odyssey, Michael Johnson (Book & Record Bar, WNBC London) and Mark Collings (Red Telephone)A little bit about Mark Collings:Mark Collings is a London underground veteran whose roots stretch back to the 90s, when he cut his teeth behind the counter at TAG Records before going on to play institutions including Fabric, Plastic People and Turnmills.He later co-founded the influential Records of the Fortnight sessions at Sohos Sun & 13 Cantons, hosting the likes of Carl Cox, DJ Sneak and Marco Carola. After time away from the booth, he returned with appearances at Alfresco Festival and Wiggle, alongside a residency with the infamous Tryouts for the Human Race, earning a reputation as a formidable closing-set DJ.Now based on the Kent coast, with Margates The Red Telephone as his home base, Mark remains a discerning selector shaped by decades of underground dance music.
