When Britain declared war on Germany on August 4th 1914, the impact on villages, towns and cities across the nation was enormous.

Trowbridge was no exception and on this walk well trace the effects the war had on the people and the towns industry.

Well see where Belgium refugees were housed, where recruitment tribunals were held and where the towns first military hospital opened.

The walk is conducted using walkie-talkies and is suitable for those ages 18+.
