Join us at the Avon Valley Railway to make unforgettable Christmas memories onboard our 2026 Santa Specials.Arrive at Bitton Station to a magical wintery scene, complete with falling snow on the platform, and our much-loved festive donkeys on the station lawnOnce onboard our festive trains the whistle will sound and you'll depart on your fifty-minute train ride (see Your Journey below).

Whilst you're travelling, you'll enjoy a festive treat and Santa will pass through the train saying hello to everyone.

Then, when you return to Bitton Station each family group will meet Santa again in his grotto, where all good boys and girls will receive their present! There will also be the chance for your family group to take photographs and create special festive memories.Upgrade to our Premium Santa experience to enjoy quality time with Santa from the comfort of our beautifully-decorated first-class carriage.

At the sound of the bells ringing, you'll be joined by Father Christmas, as he comes to meet everyone and gift each child their present.

All Premium Santa passengers will also enjoy a cosy hot chocolate (or grown-ups can select a mini festive tipple) alongside their festive sweet treat whilst you travel the line.You are welcome to spend time with the donkeys either before or after your train ride, however, passengers on the 16:00 train are reminded that the donkeys will have gone home by the time they get back to Bitton, so should visit them before their train departs.
