Stags and Hens the Remix by Willy Russell

Set against the backdrop of pre-wedding celebrations, 'Stags and Hens the Remix' explores themes of love, class, regret and the complexities of relationships, with Russell's trademark wit, sharp dialogue, relatable characters and social commentary.

The play unfolds on the same night, as both Linda's 'hen party' and Dave's 'stag do' are taking place, unbeknown to each other, at the same Liverpool club.

When Linda unexpectedly encounters an old flame, romantic memories are stirred and the night becomes a collision of past and present, with revelations, confrontations and plenty of dark humour.

The play discusses working class society, combining comedy with acrid truth, in the style Willy Russell has made unmistakably his own.
