Summer of Funk - Leicester's Biggest Independent Music FestivalLast year, two 19-year-olds set out to make live music affordable for the people of Leicester.

Unfortunately, Summer of Funk '26 didn't bring Leicester to Victoria Park... but people from all over the UK! Originally planned for 500, last year's event drew 1000 attendees! This year, SOF '27 is bringing 4000 people from here, there, and everywhere to Victoria Park, Leicester for 11 hours of non-stop original live music.

Imagine it, 14 of the UK's best original acts, £3 pints, 2 Stages, everything from big band funk to gypsy jazz, neo soul to indie rock, all for less than a takeaway! Whether it's a family outing, a catch-up with mates, treating a loved one, or meeting new people, Summer of Funk is everything that makes a music festival special, without the the ridiculous price tag!Oh and the whole thing is for charity, with all profits going to St John Ambulance!
