Christina Alden and Alex Patterson with Bungay Voices

Award wining Norwich based duo Christina Alden and Alex Patterson are coming to Bungay bringing their music which is rich with intertwining harmony, sensitive accomplished musicianship and a creative songwriting style that is both delicate and moving. Deeply inspired by the world around them, they have a keen environmental eye to craft stories with the natural world at its heart, reflecting on the relationship between humans and the wild. Last year we were wooed by the beauty and intimacy of their music and they are returning again to St Marys which is the perfect venue for the musical feast they have to share.
We are also delighted that Jason Collins is bringing his choir - Bungay Voices - to start the concert. Jason, who is coincidentally our current Town Reeve, leads the choir which originates from 1887 which it was called the Bungay Choral Society.
This promises to be a concert which brings together both traditional and contemporary folk.
