Calendar Girls, adapted by Tim Firth from the hit 2003 film, is a heartwarming comedic drama based on a true story.

The amateur stage version is licensed through Concord Theatricals.The story follows a group of ordinary women belonging to a local Women's Institute (WI) branch in a small, close-knit village in the Yorkshire Dales.

When the much-loved husband of one of the members tragically passes away from leukaemia, the women are struck by grief.

Wanting to honor his memory and raise money for a comfortable sofa in the local hospital's waiting room, they decide to ditch traditional charity fundraising ideas in favour of something else.
