Ricky Tomlinson brings his 2026 tour show to Eagle Sports & Social Club in Penketh.Hosted by Asa Murphy In conversation about his life and career, Eric Ricky Tomlinson is an English actor (and former plasterer) best known for his television roles as Bobby Grant in the soap opera Brookside(1982-1988), DCI Charlie Wise in Cracker(1993-2006)
andJim Royle In The Royle Family (1998-2012).
He also played the tie character in mockumentary Mike Bassett: England Manager. He has also started in the BBC series Nice Guy Eddie and Clocking Off aswell as the film Nativity with Martin Freeman and 51st state with Samuel L Jackson. The evening is hosted by BBC Radio Merseyside presenter Asa Murphy. As well as an interviewer and presenter, Asa is an established singer and entertainer. At home with either his swing style big band show or his energetic Rock n Roll performances.
