Mottram Summer Show 2026

Mottram Summer Show offers a full day of countryside competition, rural tradition and family entertainment.

Running since 1904, this long-established agricultural show brings together livestock showing, equestrian competition, countryside demonstrations, food, crafts and live entertainment, providing a traditional day out for visitors of all ages.The event features cattle and sheep showing classes and competitions, a full programme of horse show classes and competition, a Family Fun Dog Show, and a cookery competition with classes for both adults and children.

Visitors can also enjoy a wide range of countryside displays and attractions including sheep shearing and baling demonstrations, vintage tractors, engines and military vehicles, horticulture, crafts, trade and charity stalls, and a birds of prey display.

Fairground rides, food and drink outlets and live music add to the atmosphere, with more attractions still to be announced.The show provides a relaxed, family friendly environment celebrating agriculture, rural skills and countryside life.

Free on site parking is available and the showground is close to Junction 4 of the M67.Mottram Summer Show is organised by a volunteer run not for profit charity dedicated to promoting agriculture, education and community engagement, with every ticket supporting the continued success of this long running local event.New for 2026 a dedicated Calm Zone created in collaboration with Tameside Neurodiversity Hub will be available on site for visitors who may need a quieter space.
