Flanders & Swann A word on my earBethan Terry is a lyric coloratura soprano, praised for her honest and captivating performances. A prize-winner of the Leach Award and joint winner of the Dean & Chadlington Competition, she has also been a finalist or semi-finalist in the Royal Over-Seas League Singers Prize, Hurn Court Singer of the Year and Somerset Song Prize. Bethan has performed at Wigmore Hall and Paris's Salle Cortot, at Opera Holland Park with Wild Arts, was a Leeds Lieder Young Artist, and has appeared on BBC Radio 3.Operatic highlights include Adina ( L'elisir d'amore ), Rosalinde ( Die Fledermaus ), Belinda ( Dido & Aeneas ) and Fiordiligi ( Cos fan tutte ). Her concert repertoire includes Haydn's Nelson Mass and The Creation , Mozart's Requiem, Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem and Bach's Magnificat .
Her next operatic role will be Lisa in Hampstead Garden Operas production of Bellinis La sonnambula this autumn.

She won the Accompanist prizes at the 2025 Kathleen Ferrier Awards and the 2024 Royal Over-Seas League, amongst other UK competitions.Francesca has been a young artist with the Oxford Song, Wigmore French Song Exchange, Leeds Lieder, Britten Pears and Samling Institute, with whom she now works regularly as a staff pianist and coach at their Academy as well as performing in their Wigmore Hall Showcase. She received the Viola Tunnard Award by the Britten Pears Foundation for her outstanding performance and contribution as a BPYAP emerging artist and recently performed at the Aldeburgh Festival with Nicky Spence as well as at the Red House with Madeline Boreham.Francesca graduated from the Royal College of Music with a distinction in collaborative piano, where she studied with Simon Lepper, Roger Vignoles and Kathron Sturrock and won the pianist prizes in the Lieder Prize, the Lies Askonas and the Joan Chissell Schumann Competition.
