Gus Casely-Hayford - Objects and Us

The curator and the Director of new V&A East takes us on a journey through objects both commonplace and exceptional from all corners of the world, as he discusses what they reveal about our histories, needs, and desires, and explain how every culture in history has imbued certain objects with special value, and there is evidence even our pre-human ancestors were collectors.

Objects, then, tell important stories - about what we need, and about who we really are.
