OCH VEY are a six-piece klezmer band based in Edinburgh, taking the traditional folk music of Eastern European Jews and fusing it with a punchy backline. Expect a high energy set of dance inducing, punk infused klezmer. Soaring clarinet solos meets wailing fiddle, crunchy guitar, pounding drums, arresting accordion, and a large quantity of bass.
AMULET are a repetition-based experimental folk duo to keep you safe. Using looped electric guitar, analogue synthesiser, field recordings and samples from multiple folk cultures, the duo create moving soundscapes from moments of melody and texture.
