Hawklords were an English music group active between 1978 and 1979.
They were formed by members from Hawkwind, including Robert Calvert (vocals), Dave Brock (guitar), and Simon King (drums), along with Harvey Bainbridge (bass) and Martin Griffin (drums).
The band released their first full studio album, 25 Years On, in 1978, and embarked on a UK tour that included a unique stage show designed by Barney Bubbles.
In 2008, a new Hawklords formed around Harvey Bainbridge and Ron Tree, continuing the legacy of the original band
