Isaiah Rashad

A Top Dawg Entertainment signee, Isaiah Rashad first burst onto the scene when he performed at the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards alongside labelmates Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul and ScHoolboy Q, and the release of the collaboration.

He followed this up that year with the release of his debut EP Cilvia Demoin in 2014.After supporting ScHoolboy Q across his international tour in 2014, he set to work on his debut studio album and in September 2016 he released The Sun’s Tirade, which debuted at number 17 on the US Billboard 200.

The Sun’s Tirade found Rashad wearing his anxieties on his sleeve, as he discussed the strains of family ties, substance abuse, smalltown gossip and self-awareness.

It became one of the most acclaimed albums of the year and sat high on many end-of-year lists come December.
